We’re seeing large populations of Oriental Fruit Moth (OFM) in our traps this spring. While adults are easily distinguishable from codling moth, discerning between the larvae of the two species takes a bit more diligence. Easiest way to identify is to look for the presence of an anal comb. OFM have one and codling moth don’t. This is obviously OFM in the photo (anal comb circled).
